Fiber glass reinforced plastic, also called fibreglass, or FRP is extremely UV stable, and very tough and strong,  manufactured to comply with industry standards set out in AS/NZS 1428.4

These fiberglass re-enforced hazard tactile Pads are 600 mm x 300 mm and are easily fixed with 6 screws. Designed for most applications and are an easy, and quick installation that is very robust and strong.

This tactile pad has been well designed using an UV stabilised resin which is reinforced with embedded fibreglass . This results in a extremely strong  product that will be durable and hard wearing and suitable for high traffic pedestrian areas.

Fiberglass re-enforced Hazard Tactiles

TGSIs or Tactile Ground Surface Indicators are now required in any build or refurbishment which provides an early warning of potential hazards to blind or vision-impaired people. These potential hazards would generally be located near stairs , ramps, road crossings, bus and train platforms.

There are two types of tactiles, warning or hazard tactiles ; both warn there is a potential hazard in the pedestrian’s line of travel. Directional tactile indicators are also very important and are used to indicate and warn a change in direction from the pedestrian’s line of travel.

Both hazard and directional TGSI’s tactile ground surface indicators are available in different materials such as polyurethane, stainless steel and brass Any of these are generally selected fit for purpose.
