Anti slip aluminium stair nosing

This anti slip aluminium stair nosing is suitable for all hard surfaces, as it has a 10 mm turn down on the face.

Anti slip Stair nosing
This anti slip aluminium stair nosing is great for steps made of concrete or tiles. More and more people are picking this nosing for their homes or businesses because it makes stairs safer and gives them a clean, modern look.

If your step isn’t flat or has chips and cracks, don’t use this 10 mm aluminium stair nosing. It needs a smooth surface to work safely and properly.
But if you see chips or cracks on your stair edges, choose a nosing with a bigger front. For example, pick the 410 stair nosing for inside or outside. It keeps your stairs safe and makes them look good too.

Cut to size and countersunk

Measure each step, we can then provide you with a cutting list. Consequently, we will cut the materials to size and countersink holes, and this service will be provided at no additional cost. You will not have to pay for wastage.

Additionally we will supply plugs and screws.

HINT!

Perhaps if you are  uncertain about the precise measurements you need, take an average of the lengths and allow for a reasonable margin of error. Once you have the materials at your location, you can trim them to the exact width required for your project.

You can order stair nosing in lengths of up to 4.2 meters. However, it is important to keep in mind that TNT typically charges a premium for oversized shipping and manual handling. Therefore, this is something you should carefully consider before placing your order.

INSTALLATION

how to install stair nosingsFirst, put stair nosings on the front of each step. They help people grip the stairs and see the edge clearly. Plus, stair nosings protect your stairs from damage.

Before you install the stair nosing, check the area for cracks or uneven spots. Fix any problems right away to keep the stairs stable. Next, clean the surface to get rid of dirt and moisture. Cleaning helps the glue stick better. When you prepare the surface, you make the stair nosing last longer and keep the stairs safer.
You can screw with mechancial fixings which are hidden or you can use adhesive.
