Aluminium Surface mount stair nosing
The 23 series stair nosing is designed for hard surface installations. It has a carborundum grit surface that ensures a non-slip area. The base of the nosing is light silver with a clear anodized finish.
You can install this stair nosing in places like apartments, schools, universities, and offices. It is also used in fire stairs to meet safety standards by providing a visible and non-slip edge. Since it only needs adhesive for installation, it is cost-effective without losing quality.

ORDERING
Cut to size and countersunk
If you measure each step and give us a cutting list we will cut to size and countersink holes for no additional cost – You will not have to pay for wastage.
In addition we can also supply the adhesive the correct adhesive for stair nosing.
Whilst the stair nosing can be ordered at the maximum length of 4.2 metres, 
TNT charge a very large fee for oversize freight and manual handling.
HINT!
If you’re unsure about the exact measurements, first average the lengths while allowing for a margin of error. Then, you can confidently cut them to the exact width onsite.
INSTALLATION
External Stair nosing for concrete and ceramic tiles.
When installing mechanical fixings, use 12-gauge stainless steel screws that are suitable for countersinking. We provide these screws along with plugs to make your installation easier. First and foremost, before you start, make sure to remove all grease, dirt, and sand from the step edge.
Additionally, take the time to eliminate any loose paint and powdery concrete to ensure a firm base for the steps. If the steps are painted, you should scratch or sand the surface to help the adhesive bond better. Furthermore, address and fix any issues that might compromise the stability or strength of the stair nosing before you proceed with the installation.
If you decide to glue the stair nosing, apply Soudal Fix All Hi-Tack adhesive in a snake-like pattern on the back of the nosing. However, be cautious; if the adhesive oozes out on the edge, wait several hours for it to dry before scraping it off with a blade.
