ORDERING
Cut to size and countersunk
If you measure each piece and provide us with a cutting list, we will cut the pieces to size and countersink the holes at no additional cost. This way, you won’t have to worry about any wastage charges. Additionally, we will supply plugs and screws for your convenience.
Customers can order stair nosing in lengths of up to 4.2 meters. However, to keep shipping costs manageable, they should consider the potential fees that TNT charges for oversized freight and manual handling. By being aware of these factors, customers can make more informed decisions when placing their orders.
HINT!
If you have any uncertainty regarding the measurements, first calculate the average lengths while allowing a margin for error. Then, adjust the width on-site to achieve optimal results.
INSTALLATION
Stair nosing for ceramic tiles and thick carpet
To install recessed stair nosing, first use 12-gauge stainless steel screws that are suitable for countersinking. Additionally, the installation kit includes plugs and screws, making the process more straightforward.
Before you proceed to install any stair nosing profile, it is crucial to identify and correct any issues that could affect the stability or strength of the nosing. Furthermore, use screws for the installation, and we recommend green plugs for optimal support. Notably, the nosing includes strong stabilizing feet, which help prevent it from rocking on the step edge.
