FRP stair strips

FRP Strips for steps

You can comply with Australian Stair Nosing Standards affordably by installing an FRP non-slip strip on the edge of steps. This option serves as an effective alternative to a full anti-slip stair nosing. Additionally, using a non-slip strip enhances safety while remaining cost-effective.

Anti slip Stair strips and FRP strips for steps.

Set the FRP strips for steps back no more than 15 mm from the edge of the step. This way, you will create a clear visual contrast with the stair tread.

The FRP strips are 50 mm wide.

They are 3 mm thick, and taper down on each side.

These FRP anti-slip strips provide exceptional and lasting slip resistance. They consist of a resilient composite material specifically engineered to perform well in harsh environments, including high exposure to saltwater. During manufacturing, we incorporate silicon carbide to create a robust, permanently bonded gritted surface. As a result, these strips enhance safety in even the most demanding conditions.

It is important to note that this is SOLID FRP ; it does not have a galvanized backing, which cause problems with delamination.

The FRP 50 mm strips comply with Australian Standards AS1428.2021. These Anti Slip Strips have been slip resistance tested to AS 4586:2013
