Recessed Stair Nosing Inlay for recessing into steps
This recess stair nosing inlay features a high-grade black, grey, white or yellow carborundum insert.
Designed to comply with AS/NZ 1428.1 2021, the high grade aluminium construction with carborundum insert has a P5 slip rating from a NATA approved laboratory, tested to AS 4586.
This nosing type is designed to be recess into a step, which is suitable for indoor or outdoor situations. .

If you wish to use a specifically designed stair nosing for 10-12 mm ceramic tiles see 18 series. This profile allows for a flush mount finish.
If you wish to use a stair nosing which can still be recessed, but has a nose please see the 13B series. This profile allows for a flush mount finish, whilst still protecting the step edge.
ORDERING
We will cut to size for you. This nosing does not have countersunk holes; it is an adhesive fix only.

Whilst the stair nosing can be ordered at the maximum length of 3.65 metres, TNT for example, charge a very large fee for oversize freight and manual handling.
HINT!
If you are not sure about the exact measurements, average the lengths giving yourself a margin for error. You may them choose to cut them to the exact width onsite.
INSTALLATION
Any issues which may affect the stability or strength of the stair nosing must be addressed and corrected prior to installing any stair nosing profile.
This stair nosing is designed to be recessed into concrete, tiles, timber, vinyl, or exposed aggregate. It is best to use 
adhesive, as there are no hidden fittings.
